A Short History...

Once upon a time there was a beautiful princess named Sandy who had a cute, chub-a-lubba cat that would occasionally leave “gift’s” on her carpet. However, Princess Sandy could not allow this – it ruined the carpet, so she locked the little chub-a-lubba in the dark and windowless dungeon.

Then one day the princess found a simple carpenter named Bob who could build a door between the kitchen and living room of her “palace” so that they could rescue poor chub-a-lubba from the dark and windowless dungeon and allow him to live in the bright and sunny kitchen.

But our story does not end there boys and girls, for the princess was so happy with the simple carpenter’s work that she fed him dinner – this pleased the carpenter very much (he likes food) and he then volunteered to fix anything the princess needed.

He hammered, drilled, shoveled, raked, cut, planted and painted for a month, all the while happily accepting only food from the beautiful princess. One day, the princess finally demanded the bill – surely it was adding up to be very expensive! But the simple carpenter told her “I will not accept any money from you.”

It was then that the princess realized that the simple carpenter was actually a prince in disguise, and fell head over heals in love with the prince.
